About this role

Overview:

Within the NetSuite Global Customer Operations (GCO) organization, the Partner Programs and Operations team supports the extended global partner ecosystem involved in acquiring new customer opportunities for NetSuite. To help accelerate the continued growth and momentum of the NetSuite business, the GCO is looking to grow the Partner Programs and Operations team in support of these efforts.  

This role will be a key individual contributor responsible for supporting the growth of the NetSuite business through our partner ecosystem. The role will interact with members of the extended partner sales team, internal cross functional teams and occasionally with partners contacts.  

Responsibilities:

This role has three main areas of responsibility:

  1. Administration and management of the NetSuite Alliance Partner (AP), Solution Provider (SP) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partner programs:

    a. Provide partner facing tools, applications, and supporting material for APs, SPs and BPOs to engage with and benefit from their participation in our partner ecosystem

    b. Conduct program measurement and assign partner program achievement per the partner agreement.

    c. Proactively identify improvements to effectively measure program and partner effectiveness   2. Compliance and adherence to the program policies, processes and practices by our partners and internal partner teams:

  2. Audit partner tractions to ensure program benefit sets are properly awarded

    a. Ensure the partners NetSuite practice is in compliance with the respective partner program requirements

    b. Oversee key business processes supporting the AP and SP programs

    c. Maintain and update program documentation 

  3. Governance and oversight of the partner programs in alignment to the Oracle risk model for partners and within the T’s & C’s of the respective partner agreements:

    a. Escalation point for inquiries around the NetSuite partner programs

    b. Engage with Oracle Corporate teams when as needed

    c. Provide SME insights for questions and concerns from Oracle Corporate teams

Qualifications/Experience:

  • 7-10 years, working within a partner/channel environment in a Sales Support or Operational role 
  • Previous experience in a Business Development or Channel Account Management role a plus  
  • Business acumen to understand the difference between the AP and SP partner models 
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented team player 
  • In-depth and demonstratable experience in managing multiple complex projects (PMP Preferred)  
  • Experience with Cloud ERP/Financial solutions (NetSuite, SAP, Sage, Workday, Epicor, etc.) a plus 
  • Experience with Partner facing tools (partner portals, lead/deal registration, MDF/COOP funds, etc.) a plus 
  • Self-starter with the ability to create structure out of ideas and concepts 
  • Strong problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to identify gaps in processes and procedures 
  • Ability to handle dynamic and fluid situations with a positive attitude and a sense of humor 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
