Location:1171 Breuckman Dr, Crown Point, IN

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p, one Saturday per month

Pay: $18-20hr, benefits package offered

 

Requirements

Extensive knowledge of how to use hand tools, mechanical tools, and welding tools in conjunction with mechanical test equipment in order to successfully troubleshoot and solve problems on a day-to-day basis.

 

Qualifications

  • 3 years of mechanical experience, including welding, motor replacement, 480 volt 3 phase, and electric controls.
  • Must be familiar with test equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters, and other types of test equipment.
  • Good driving record and unrestricted driver's license.

 

Job Purpose

To provide and maintain dynamometers, other lane systems, and build/property maintenance, following set preventative maintenance schedules.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform routine diagnostics, calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair of emission analyzers, dynamometers, and other lane systems in accordance with established schedules.
  • Install, test, and calibrate equipment during construction.
  • Mechanical repairs, including welding and 480-volt 3-phase electric controls.
  • May interface with subcontractor representatives in repair and maintenance equipment.
  • May assist in the maintenance and repair of other companies' electrical and electronic systems, including alarms, telephones, and computer peripherals.
  • Perform building/property routine maintenance: HVAC, air compressors, and sprinkler systems.
  • Receive service calls from the stations in their region.
  • Often required working hours outside our station's Hours of Operation.
  • Complete necessary paperwork, report on assigned work, and assist in the completion of records, reports, and other documents.
  • Manage special projects and perform other tasks as required by the System Support Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned
