In this role, you will customize and maintain SugarCRM modules, design complex CRM Workflow, and configure user experiences using the Sidecar framework. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable CRM automations and integrations that support OPSWAT’s business needs.</p> <h3 data-start="751" data-end="775">Key Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li data-start="779" data-end="956">Configure, customize, and maintain SugarCRM using low-code and configuration-driven approaches, including custom modules, fields, layouts, logic hooks, and workflow rules.</li> <li data-start="959" data-end="1133">Design, implement, and maintain complex, multi-stage business workflows using SugarCRM Advanced Workflow (BPM) to support sales, service, and operational processes.</li> <li data-start="1136" data-end="1289">Customize user experience using Sugar’s Sidecar framework, focusing on UI behavior, layouts, and usability rather than heavy front-end engineering.</li> <li data-start="1292" data-end="1400">Implement and maintain integrations with external systems using SugarCRM APIs and existing connectors.</li> <li data-start="1403" data-end="1538">Collaborate closely with business users and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective CRM configurations and automations.</li> <li data-start="1541" data-end="1663">Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing SugarCRM configurations and workflows to improve performance and reliability.</li> <li data-start="1666" data-end="1766">Provide guidance on SugarCRM best practices, configuration standards, and long-term maintainability.</li> </ul> <h3 data-start="1768" data-end="1806">Required Skills and Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li data-start="1810" data-end="1963">5+ years of experience working with CRM platforms, with strong hands-on experience in SugarCRM or similar systems (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics).</li> <li data-start="1966" data-end="2104">Solid experience in CRM configuration and customization, including modules, security models, fields, layouts, and role-based access.</li> <li data-start="2107" data-end="2252">Proven expertise in designing and administering business process automation/workflows (SugarCRM BPM or equivalent low-code workflow tools).</li> <li data-start="2255" data-end="2377">Working knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL sufficient to extend SugarCRM when needed (not a heavy coding role).</li> <li data-start="2380" data-end="2475">Experience integrating CRM systems via REST APIs and managing data flows between systems.</li> <li data-start="2478" data-end="2603">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate in a distributed team.</li> <li data-start="2606" data-end="2743">Good English communication skills, especially in gathering requirements and explaining technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>OPSWAT is an equal opportunity employer.
