We're at the forefront of Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) solutions and are seeking a highly skilled Product Designer to join our Product Design and Usability Team.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will be an experienced designer capable of leading and evolving our product experiences across a diverse software portfolio. You will champion the user, build consistent and intuitive interfaces tailored to specific workflows, and apply rigorous attention to detail. A deep understanding of UX principles, usability heuristics, interaction patterns, information architecture, visual hierarchy, design systems, responsive layouts, component libraries, and accessibility standards is essential.</p> <p>This role will report to a regional Product Design Manager and will work closely with engineering, product management, brand design, and other cross-functional partners to execute projects from concept to implementation. In this fast-paced environment, you must be capable of juggling multiple projects, maintaining various schedules, and working with a global team spread across the USA, Europe, and Asia. Your ultimate goal is to produce intuitive, high-quality product experiences that drive user adoption and satisfaction.</p> <h3 id="What-you-will-be-doing" data-renderer-start-pos="3233">What you will be doing</h3> <ul> <li>Design UX and UI for assigned product areas under Design Manager guidance</li> <li>Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions</li> <li>Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready UI designs</li> <li>Partner with product managers to understand user needs and experience priorities</li> <li>Participate in design discussions and contribute ideas under Design Manager guidance</li> <li>Create responsive designs that maintain usability and visual quality across breakpoints</li> <li>Apply design system standards consistently and flag gaps or opportunities</li> <li>Manage assigned projects, tracking timelines and communicating status</li> </ul> <h2></h2> <h3>What we need from you</h3> <h2>&nbsp;</h2> <ul></ul> <ul> <li>2-4 years professional experience in product design (UX/UI)</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in Product Design, User Experience, HCI, or related field; strong portfolio may substitute for formal education</li> <li>Portfolio demonstrating UX thinking and UI craft across web or mobile</li> <li>Working knowledge of user research methods, information architecture, and interaction design</li> <li>Proficient in Figma including prototyping and component usage</li> <li>Familiar with project management platforms (JIRA)</li> <li>Working knowledge of usability heuristics, accessibility standards, and UX best practices</li> <li>Working knowledge of responsive design, color theory, typography, and spacing</li> <li>Interest in creating intuitive, beautiful interfaces grounded in user needs</li> <li>Detail-oriented with attention to experience quality and visual execution</li> <li>Able to manage assigned projects and meet deadlines</li> <li>Receptive to feedback and willing to iterate on work</li> </ul> <h2></h2> <h3><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Nice to have:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Flexibility to coordinate with colleagues in different time zones.</li> <li>User research and usability testing tools (UserTesting, Maze, etc.)</li> <li>Front-end development awareness (HTML/CSS)</li> <li>Motion/micro-interaction design</li> <li>Cybersecurity or SaaS product experience</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p>OPSWAT is an equal opportunity employer.
