We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Education and Languages:



Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee(s) will assist the Principal Investigator for the Research Project “Narratives that shape: Investigating oral and digital storytelling for language and moral development in young children in Hong Kong”. The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: 

  • Conducting literature searches;

  • Working with the Principal Investigator to design teaching material, research instruments and prepare reports;

  • Delivering learning activities and interviewing the participants;

  • Transcribing and coding interview data;

  • Assisting in data analysis; and

  • Performing any other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator.

 

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competencies:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Early Childhood Education, Linguistics, or the Social Sciences;

  • Fluency in both written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese); and

  • Preferably with experience in educational research.

 

Terms and Conditions for Appointment
Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
