We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Arts and Social Sciences:



Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointees shall mainly assist the research team in a research project “Digital Preservation and Layered Realities of Kowloon's Heritage: A Foundational XR Feasibility Study with Dual-Representation 3D Asset Creation” (UGC/IDS(C)16/B01/24). The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

  • Conducting on-site data collection and processing;

  • Assisting the Principal Investigator/supervisors to prepare experiments; and

  • Conducting other ad-hoc research activities as instructed by the Principal Investigator.

 

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

  • Full-time undergraduate or postgraduate student of the University, and preferably majoring in Creative/Interactive Media, Computer Science, or any related disciplines;

  • Interested in research-based further study;

  • Detail-oriented, hardworking, organized, responsible, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines and work independently; and

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.

 

Duration of Appointment

The appointee will be required to work for the period from March 2026 to August 2026.

 

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidate will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract at a rate of HK$75 per hour.  Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
