We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences:



Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will assist in supporting a clinical operations planning project. The appointee will be responsible primarily for the following:

  • Provide clinical input and support in reviewing service workflows, training content, and operational plans;

     

  • Assist in drafting and refining project-related documentation, including protocols, guidelines, and logistical arrangements;

  • Attend planning meetings and collaborative sessions with internal and external stakeholders;

  • Liaise with clinical staff and relevant parties to facilitate communication and ensure alignment with operational goals;

  • Support the coordination and implementation of project activities across various stages;

  • Contribute to the development and use of assessment tools for evaluating project effectiveness and team performance;

  • Prepare reports, summaries, and recommendations based on observations and project outcomes; and

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth execution of the project.

The appointee will work part-time on a project basis, with flexible arrangements. Work may be conducted remotely, except for attendance required at walkthrough meetings, stakeholder sessions, or on-site drills and rehearsals as scheduled.

He/she will be normally assigned to work less than 68 hours per month.

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience, and competence:

  • A recognised nursing degree with at least 10 years of relevant post-registration clinical experience;

  • Valid registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Hong Kong;

  • Experience in hospital settings or operations-related duties is preferred;

  • Familiarity with clinical workflow planning, training, or drill/simulation activities is an advantage;

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese);

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment;

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Zoom, and general IT tools for communication and coordination; and

  • Immediate availability is preferred.

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract.  Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.

Duration of Appointment

The contract will be initially for 12 months, with the possibility of renewal.
