The position requires a person with proven analytical and multi-tasking skills who can communicate across the organization, working closely with Business Leaders, FP&A and Controllership teams.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">The position requires an individual with a high degree of autonomy and a solid financial acumen. Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize input from multiple sources are a must. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter who is comfortable leading in a changing environment despite ambiguity, with an extensive analytical background, problem-solving skills and experience driving results. </span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>What the role offers:</strong></span></p><ul type="disc"><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Lead monthly review of financial information related to close process and analysis of significant variances to forecast and budget within tight timelines, with a focus on Sales Incentive plans</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Communicate insights to business stakeholders monthly including influencing changes to OPEX forecasts</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Process re-engineering and design of reporting and analysis infrastructure</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Offer recommendations to senior management based on their analysis and project work</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Frequent interaction with business partners to develop a clear understanding of business and financial implications</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Performing ad hoc analysis and projects</span></li></ul><p> </p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>What you need to succeed:</strong></span></p><ul type="disc"><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">7+ years of proven strong team leadership experience.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Self-starter, proactive, with the ability to multi-task.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels within the company.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Collaborative, able to influence across teams, comfortable dealing with ambiguity.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Strong excel, financial and ERP reporting system skills.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Technology or Software industry experience preferred.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics.</span></li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>One Last Thing:</strong></p><p>OpenText is more than a corporation—it’s a global community built on trust, character, and purpose.
