This role is based in Waterloo, Canada.  The successful candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and possess a broad understanding of technical workflows required in processing compensation data.  This manager will lead the various systems analysts responsible for ensuring that variable compensation data is processed accurately and timely. </span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Responsibilities include ensuring compensation calculations are accurate, variable compensation and incentive plan design systems implementation, manual data feed processing, and managing technical issues when they arise in Xactly.  In addition, this is a management role leading technical analysts – a portion of the role will be dedicated to ensuring their success, managing performance goals, delivering feedback and delegating/assigning priorities.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">A critical success in this role will be the ability to provide efficient support to the wider variable compensation teams, to communicate and work collaboratively with other groups across the global OpenText organization, including HR, Finance, and Sales.</span></p><p><br><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><strong>WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS</strong></span></p><ul><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Ensuring all variable compensation systems and processes function seamlessly, including Xactly, SAP data feeds, and BI warehouse integrations.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Collaborating with IT teams and third-party vendors to maintain system integrity and resolve technical issues promptly.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Managing automated commission calculations and overseeing accurate execution of monthly cycles.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Implementing changes to commission and incentive plan designs in alignment with business objectives.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Owning and maintaining variable compensation plan document templates in partnership with HR.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Validating monthly commission data to ensure accuracy and prevent errors, system failures, or duplicate records.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Leading and performance-managing a team of analysts responsible for operational execution and data integrity.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Overseeing manual data feed uploads and ensuring timely, accurate processing within compensation systems.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Partnering with Corporate IT, SFDC, and SAP technical teams to confirm system flows and integrations operate correctly.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Interpreting commission and incentive plan provisions to guarantee proper implementation and compliance.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Investigating complex or unusual compensation cases, collaborating with planning teams to develop creative, approved solutions.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Driving system testing, UAT, and validation plans for upstream changes in partnership with IT.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Identifying and implementing innovative, efficient solutions, including evaluating new technologies or systems.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Financial Analysis, Computer Science, IT, or related technical field.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">10+ years of experience in business analysis, financial analysis, and/or metrics and reporting.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose problems, design solutions, and manage complex data sets.</span></li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
