About the role:
As Zone Brand Lead you will be responsible for building strong brand engagement across the CEE region for a growing portfolio of Opella brands, while acting as a role model of the Opella Challenger Mindset. It owns end-to-end brand strategy and activation, including positioning, communication, media, innovation, and creative development in close collaboration with agencies. The position also drives performance by managing budgets, influencing sales and profitability KPIs, and anticipating risks and opportunities to deliver business targets. In addition, the role contributes to developing future leaders and supports effective engagement with healthcare professionals.
Main responsibilities :
Build CEE organization engagement for growing leading portfolio of brands for Opella.
Role models Opella Challenger Mindset behaviours day to day
Contributes to building managers of the future on his/her team and inspires growth across entire organization.
Owns brand building (brand strategy - positioning and long-term plan, brand planning, communication & media strategy, innovation strategy) for the countries and brands in scope.
Owns end-to-end brand activation along the consumers’ journey to enable them to take health in their hands.
Owns creative development with agencies to elevate benchmarks for our communication and increase brand love.
Provides inputs on Healthcare Professionals (HCP) engagement strategy and owns materials supporting the execution.
Defines budget allocation and priorities for brands in scope and tracks A&P execution vs plan.
Monitors and influences brand performance to ensure it meets category KPIs on Sales (sell-in/sell-out), profitability (BOI) and innovation (incremental sales).
Anticipates and manages upsides and risks to ensure achievement of business targets.
About you:
University Degree - Business or Marketing Background.
Strong marketing experience in recognized OTC/FMCG companies at country and/or Zone level with proven track record of stretch business growth and brand building (measures via share growth and brand equity growth).
Strong track record in strategic & operational marketing as well as innovation
Flair for creativity and building effective relationships with creative agencies
Strong leadership skills (experienced in leading teams including direct report relationships, cross-functional teams as well as effective intercultural leadership acumen).
Excellent people and communication skills, ability to operate and influence in a diverse and complex matrix environment, and ability to build sustainable social relationships within the organization and with external stakeholders.
Experience in effective cross-functional engagement with e.g. Supply Chain, Industrial Development, Market Research, Medical and Regulatory.
Experience in P&L management and accountability.
International experience (experience working outside of own cultural environment / across multiple countries preferred).
Fluent knowledge English and other CEE language
