About the Job

The Inventory Control Manager will oversee all aspects of inventory operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across multiple facilities and partners. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to manage high‑volume inventory movement with co‑manufacturers, co‑packers, 3PLs, and ecommerce platforms such as Amazon.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 2–3 employees handling shipments from co manufacturers, co packers, and 3PLs.
  • Oversee receipts of finished goods, components, and raw materials, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Coordinate with vendors, shippers, and internal departments (Supply Chain, Accounts Payable, Warehouse, QA/QC) to resolve discrepancies.
  • Lead monthly reconciliation of inventory.
  • Ensure accuracy across co manufacturers, co packers, 3PLs, and ecommerce platforms such as Amazon.
  • Investigate and resolve variances, confirm work in process, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide end of month inventory reconciliation results to Finance and Supply Chain teams.
  • Plan and execute physical inventory counts, including mid year audits.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external auditors, and partners to ensure production and shipments are paused during counts.
  • Develop cycle counting guidelines for Finished Goods
  • Work with 3PLs to ensure compliance with cycle counting procedures
  • Review production against BOM standards to identify and account for losses or discrepancies.
  • Research and recommend optimal inventory levels for multi warehouse footprint to ensure seamless operations
  • Partner with QA/QC to release items in NetSuite.

About You:

  • 5+ years of experience in inventory control, supply chain, or related field.
  • Proven ability to lead small teams and manage cross‑functional processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills for vendor and internal collaboration.
  • Experience managing ecommerce inventory (Amazon or similar platforms) preferred.
  • Knowledge of overall Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Distribution processes
