Senior Mechanical Engineer

Contract : Indeterminate

Senior Mechanical Engineer leads mechanical projects team and he/she is responsible for technical solutions and leading and coordination of work within dedicated project mechanical team. He/she is responsible for delivering a robust, proven and reliable mechanical solutions in required time, quality and cost.

Responsabilities:

• Reports to Application Leader in term of tasks based on assignment into particular project
• Leads all PD tasks related to successful Job1 and profitable product in terms of mechanical engineering.
• Develop concepts for innovative products with regard to feasibility, cost, lifespan customer and legal requirements
• Responsible for mechanical BOM release & updates
• Applies and ensure application of the best design and process practices (DGL, Rules), standard parts, Lessons Learned, CAD standards and CAD methodology and customer specific requirements.
• Provides suggestions for creating and updating DFMEA.
• Ensure application of proper data management system and information exchange within the project team
• Cooperates at creation of DFMEA, CAE plan, DV plan, component test and certification in compliance with the CDP/VPDS/VBOS and customer specifications as well as legal requirements.
• Supports Technical Design Review (TDR ) of given project. On request participate on TDR organized by other teams to provide feedback

Requirements:

• University degree in machinery or mechanical engineering (or adequate experience)
• English on advanced level
• MS Office, Windows
• CAD (CATIA, NX)
• GD&T
• DFMEA

Experience:

• More than 5 years of experience in mechanical design, plastic injection technology and tool design knowledge
•  Team leading 
•  Technical presentations to customer and communication to customer on daily basiS
