About this role

Your tasks

  • Product Ownership & Prioritization: You translate our agency services into concrete product requirements, take ownership of the product backlog, and prioritize features based on business value, user needs, and technical feasibility.
  • MVP & Iteration Focus: You define lean MVPs, test them with users at an early stage, and continuously iterate on them to deliver measurable value quickly.
  • Data & AI Implementation: You ensure that data, analytics, and insights are meaningfully translated into product features (e.g. benchmarking or recommendations) and support the implementation of automation and AI use cases with clear added value.
  • Technical Alignment: You work closely with the development team to identify the most suitable technical solution and ensure a realistic, high-quality implementation.
  • User Stories & Acceptance: You write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications, and support the implementation through to final acceptance.
  • Stakeholder Management: You act as the central interface between marketing, management, and technology teams, ensuring transparent and solution-oriented communication.
  • Make-or-Buy Alignment: You collaborate with tech and stakeholders on make-or-buy decisions and evaluate options from both a product and implementation perspective.
  • Strategic Contribution: You contribute to strategic product decisions, support the further development of the product vision, and work on roadmap initiatives—always with a strong focus on feasibility and value.

Your profile

  • Experience: You have at least 4–5 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable product-focused role, ideally in a B2B SaaS or tech environment.
  • Track Record: You have successfully guided digital products, MVPs, or complex features from initial concept through go-live and iteratively improved them over time.
  • Data & Tech Literacy: You are not a data scientist, but you understand how data-driven products are built. Concepts such as analytics, BI, automation, AI, or LLMs are familiar to you, and you can assess their use from a product perspective.
  • Agile & Development Proximity: You have extensive experience working closely with (international) development teams and feel confident operating in agile environments (Scrum, sprint planning, refinements, reviews).
  • Communication: You communicate confidently and at eye level with development teams, stakeholders, and users. You are fluent in both German and English; experience working with hoteliers or marketing teams is a plus.
  • Love for Dynamics: You thrive in dynamic, evolving product and tech environments and have experience actively helping to build and shape structures.
  • Value & Cost Awareness: You keep an eye on the economic framework of product development and ensure that features deliver measurable value—without being responsible for business cases or budgets.
