The goal is to replace intuition with structured insights and enable sustainable merchant growth.</p><p>This role owns merchant context, payment performance visibility, and operational excellence — laying the foundation for <strong>upsell, retention, and volume scaling</strong>.</p><hr><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><p><strong>Analytics & Merchant Profiling</strong></p><ul><li><p>Pre-qualification of merchants: market, geo, traffic, and payment method research</p></li><li><p>Assessment of deal feasibility and growth potential in collaboration with Sales</p></li></ul><p><strong>Merchant Operations</strong></p><ul><li><p>Operational support of merchants post-onboarding</p></li><li><p>Monitoring performance metrics: volumes, approval rates, conversion, errors, routing efficiency</p></li><li><p>Ownership of merchant payment context and operational reality</p></li></ul><p><strong>Optimization & Scaling</strong></p><ul><li><p>Initiation of performance improvements: provider tuning, routing optimization, cascading logic</p></li><li><p>Reduction of operational and technical growth barriers</p></li></ul><p><strong>Cross-Functional Coordination</strong></p><ul><li><p>Collaboration with FinOps, Risk/Compliance, and Tech teams on merchant-related decisions</p></li><li><p>Preparation of structured reports, insights, and action plans for Sales and management</p></li></ul><hr><h3>Requirements</h3><p><strong>Professional Experience</strong></p><ul><li><p>1+ year experience in <strong>fintech / PSP</strong>, preferably in <strong>high-risk segments</strong><br>(iGaming, Gambling, Betting, Forex, Crypto)</p></li><li><p>Background in <strong>Sales Operations, Account Management, Business Analytics, or Sales</strong></p></li></ul><p><strong>Analytical & Technical Skills</strong></p><ul><li><p>Strong analytical mindset; confident with <strong>Excel, Power BI, or similar tools</strong></p></li><li><p>Understanding of payment methods and flows: cards, APMs, mobile money, local/regional solutions</p></li><li><p>Experience using <strong>AI tools</strong> (GPT, Perplexity, Gemini) in analytical or operational workflows</p></li><li><p>Basic <strong>market and SEO research</strong> skills (Similarweb, Ahrefs, etc.)</p></li></ul><p><strong>Business & Communication Skills</strong></p><ul><li><p>Strong negotiation and business communication skills</p></li><li><p>Spoken and written <strong>English (B2+)</strong></p></li><li><p>Ukrainian language - a significant advantage</p></li></ul><p><strong>Personal Qualities</strong></p><ul><li><p>High stress tolerance in a fast-paced, high-risk B2B environment</p></li><li><p>Results-driven, structured, and ownership-oriented mindset</p></li><li><p>Clear understanding of how <strong>Sales and Support teams operate</strong> in high-risk payment businesses</p></li></ul><hr><h3>What Success Looks Like</h3><ul><li><p>Sales decisions supported by clear data, not assumptions</p></li><li><p>Merchants scaling with fewer operational blockers</p></li><li><p>Improved payment performance and approval rates</p></li><li><p>Strong alignment between Sales, Risk, FinOps, and Tech</p></li></ul>
