Job DetailsJob Location: Omaha, NE 68107Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High School EquivalencyJob Category: Medical ClinicMultiple Full-time Positions | FT Family Practice Clinic (30th & L) | FT Liberty Middle School SBHC (Papillion, NE)  | FT TYAHC South (24th & L) | FT TYAHC West (132 & Center)   Be Inspired By the Work You Do   If you want to change the world, one patient at a time, we’d love you to consider joining our team.   OneWorld Community Health Centers is a growing Omaha-based organization that employs over 500 people while still retaining a true family feel. Out of 1,400+ Community Health Centers nationwide, OneWorld ranks within the top 2% in terms of clinical outcomes. It takes all of us, with our various talents and positions, to achieve results like this. Our employees are united by a desire to help the community, and it shows.   We are looking for mission driven Health Assistants to join our team!   The Health Assistant, under the direction of a licensed nurse, works as part of the medical team performing the clinical and clerical duties necessary to meet the goal of providing primary healthcare.  Duties include preparing patients for their visit, gathering information, registering patients, preparing medical charts, performing point-of-care testing and routine procedures, assisting providers with more complex procedures, making appointments when necessary, and answering the phone utilizing excellent customer service skills.   Multiple Full-time Positions | FT Family Practice Clinic (30th & L) | FT Liberty Middle School SBHC (Papillion, NE)  | FT TYAHC South (24th & L) | FT TYAHC West (132 & Center) High school diploma or equivalent required, OR must be actively pursuing a high school diploma/GED. Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within first 30 days of employment. Certified Medication Aide required within first three months of employment. Phlebotomy Certificate preferred. Prior healthcare experience preferred. Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office products required; experience with an Electronic Health Record preferred. Proficiency in English and Spanish required for all locations. Demonstrated ability to relate with warmth and empathy to OneWorld patients and staff. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
