Job Description:

The Sr. Manager, RCM Shared Services is responsible for project initiatives for practice-based revenue cycle management (RCM) teams, third-party RCM vendors and internal One Oncology teams.  This position will drive RCM projects, utilize analytics to guide workflow optimization, and lead corporate in-house RCM teams. 
 

Responsibilities

  • Document and implement policies and workflows in both new and existing One Oncology practices

  • Prepare slides and reports for Practice and Executive-level leadership

  • Responsible for day to day operations of any centralized RCM offerings.

  • Maintain system admin configuration for One Oncology-owned database tables.

  • Develop training materials, process maps, QRG’s and step by step instructions for One Oncology practices and vendors.

  • Work with the analytics team to identify meaningful metrics for deep dive RCM review.

  • Participate in committees and work alongside payer and finance teams to optimize revenue opportunities.

  • Ensure external vendor and in-sourced RCM compliance with all coding and billing guidelines.

  • Ability to work in a matrix environment where multiple and competing customer demands are likely. 

  • Other duties as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in relevant healthcare and RCM leadership experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

  • Coding certification preferred

  • Strong background in managed care payer market

  • Oncology experience a plus

  • Significant travel

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.

  • Must be detail oriented and organized.

  • Flatiron OncoEMR proficiency desired but not required

  • G4 Centricity proficiency desired but not required

  • Strong Microsoft suite skills required including Excel and Powerpoint

  • Knowledge of practice management software preferred

  • High integrity, including maintenance of confidential information.

  • Based on business need, the ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.

Tennessee Oncology’s in house pharmacy, Park Pharmacy, stocks oncology and hematology medications not readily available at community retail pharmacies. A URAC accredited Specialty Pharmacy, Park provides insurance and benefits investigation, prior authorization services for insurance coverage, co-pay assistance through manufacturer or foundation programs, extensive medication education, and access to a pharmacist 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
