Job Description:

The Sr. Analyst, RCM is responsible for advanced financial analysis, reporting, and compensation calculations across multiple divisions. This role works closely with the Controller and VP of RCM, supporting physician compensation, productivity analysis, and revenue cycle operations. The Senior Financial Analyst must deliver results under tight deadlines with precision accuracy, leveraging deep expertise in healthcare finance and billing systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calculate productivity pool for physician compensation for the Nashville and Chattanooga divisions, as well as Radiation Oncology and other divisions as required.

  • Calculate physician compensation using the physician compensation model; communicate results directly with the Controller , CFO and VP of RCM.

  • Run and calculate APP (Advanced Practice Provider) direct and incident to contributions.

  • Possess an understanding of revenue cycle billing requirements and system functionality.

  • Work under tight deadlines and deliver results with precision accuracy.

  • Develop, evaluate, and publish financial and operational reports in Centricity, ECW and other relevant systems.

  • Analyze contract reimbursement and provide analysis of uplift and decline related to managed care contracting.

  • Analyze, process, and report gaps in data through systematic and manual review processes.

  • Collaborate with department heads, clinicians, and leadership to support financial decision-making.

  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, healthcare administration, or related field; relevant experience may be substituted for education.

  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in healthcare finance, accounts receivable, or managed care or analytics.

  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and data management.

  • Proficiency with Centricity Practice Solutions, SQL, Crystal Reports, SSRS, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong understanding of managed care, Medicare, Medicaid, and oncology billing.

Self -administered medications, those taken by mouth or injected by the patient, comprise approximately 40% of these investigative medications. Tennessee Oncology’s in house pharmacy, Park Pharmacy, stocks oncology and hematology medications not readily available at community retail pharmacies. A URAC accredited Specialty Pharmacy, Park provides insurance and benefits investigation, prior authorization services for insurance coverage, co-pay assistance through manufacturer or foundation programs, extensive medication education, and access to a pharmacist 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
