Job Description:

SIGNING BONUS:

  • $15,000 signing bonus with 2 year commitment

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be willing to work in all radiation locations (currently Myrtle Beach and Conway)
  • Must be registered as a Radiation Therapist with ARRT and eligible for applicable state licenses.

Job Summary:

As a Radiation Therapist, you are responsible for delivering efficient and effective radiation treatment of a high quality. This position is a clinical role that contributes to the delivery of efficient and effective radiation treatments.

This clinic offers interested candidates the ability to be a part of the fastest growing region in the country, exposure to state of the art technology, and the potential for growth within the clinic all while living on the beautiful Grand Strand in South Carolina. Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Practice

  • Personally undertake radiation therapy treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
  • Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant Center and across the practice.
  • Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
  • Ensures that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.

Patient Care

  • Ensures established patient care standards are maintained.
  • Treats all patients and their caregivers with respect and equality.
  • Maintains confidentiality on all issues.
  • Liaises with members of the health care team in the planning and delivery of patient services.

Teamwork and communication

  • Demonstrates ability to participate as an active and effective member of a team.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Participates in team meetings and activities.

Other

  • Perform other tasks as reasonably requested.

            

Experience

  • Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiation therapy at an appropriate level, including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiation therapy modalities and techniques.
  • Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment
  • Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of radiation therapy and associated allied healthcare services
  • Registration as a Radiation Therapist with ARRT and eligible for applicable state licenses.

Tennessee Oncology’s in house pharmacy, Park Pharmacy, stocks oncology and hematology medications not readily available at community retail pharmacies. A URAC accredited Specialty Pharmacy, Park provides insurance and benefits investigation, prior authorization services for insurance coverage, co-pay assistance through manufacturer or foundation programs, extensive medication education, and access to a pharmacist 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
