You will </em><em>be responsible for </em><em>p</em><em>artnering with </em><em>agency leadership</em><em> and internal teams to lead new business efforts. </em>Your role will encompass an integrated view of growth across OM and our global agency brands (OMD, PHD, and Hearts &amp; Science) including inbound opportunities and outbound prospecting.</p> <p><em>We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a new business background who has a proven track record of engaging and converting new clients to grow agency revenue. </em>This role will have high visibility within OM and corresponding high expectation to drive impact.</p> <p><strong><u>Responsibilities: </u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead development of pitch strategies to obtain new clients</li> <li>Must have <strong>Health/Pharma experience</strong></li> <li>Craft compelling RFI / RFPs that are bespoke and present OM’s breadth of capabilities</li> <li>Partner with all required stakeholders (Finance, Investment, etc.) as required, ensuring a lock-step relationship to drive a flawless end product</li> <li>Elevate strategic thinking at all levels, inspiring and creating new ideas that permeate across our teams</li> <li>Lead multiple pitches and projects concurrently, while prioritizing the most important</li> <li>Manage a small working team of junior new business team members, connecting regularly with counterparts within the Growth group</li> <li>Responsible for the growth and development of junior team members</li> <li>Create a culture of learning by imparting best practices to the Growth team</li> <li>Manage opportunity pipeline and reports on pitch activity weekly within the global CRM platform</li> <li>Cultivate business relationships through networking and industry events</li> <li>Accountable for win/loss ratio and healthy business development financials</li> <li>Support the prospecting process of potential clients</li> <li>Partner with internal Brand Experience team to produce pitch related comms &amp; materials</li> </ul> <p><em><strong><u>Requirements:</u></strong></em></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or related field</li> <li>Minimum 12+ years’ experience in the marketing / advertising industry</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with outstanding project management and organization skills</li> <li>Solution-oriented with an impeccable eye for detail, comfortable with ambiguity and can grasp new concepts easily</li> <li>Strategic thinker, successful track record of building business for an agency, ideally for large media agencies / groups</li> <li>Experience overseeing business development initiatives from initial opportunity all the way through securing client contracts</li> <li>Proven results in converting new clients through formal new business pitch process</li> <li>Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels (commands a room, is a highly effective leader, motivator)</li> <li>Experience liaising with external consultants to manage and facilitate the pitch process and required deliverables</li> <li>Ability to adapt growth strategy to the group’s evolving service offerings</li> <li>Proven experience in building and leading a cross-functional teams in the pitch process</li> <li>Extensive experience managing senior stakeholders with a professional demeanor, collaborative and able to work under tight deadlines</li> <li>Genuine passion for mentoring people with an ability to coach junior Growth team members including supporting the annual performance review process</li> <li>Has an eye for design and layout to build compelling narratives and storytelling for pitches</li> <li>Knowledge of CRM platforms and industry new business tools (COMvergence, RECMA, etc.)</li> </ul> <p>#LI-KR1</p> <aside id="right-column" class="column right"> <div id="sticky-item" class="sticky-item"><span id="social-share"></span></div> </aside><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p><span class="ui-provider ed bjb azk bjc bjd bje bjf bjg bjh bji bjj bjk bjl bjm bjn bjo bjp bjq bjr bjs bjt bju bjv bjw bjx bjy bjz bka bkb bkc bkd bke bkf bkg bkh">This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living).
