The Consort Bar Bartender is responsible for providing efficient and friendly customer service at all times and to maintain a clean, professional top quality bar.
The starting wage rate for this position is $25.18 per hour. After six months of employment, the rate will increase to $27.98 per hour, in accordance with the applicable Collective Agreement.

Qualifications / qualifications
- 2+ years of bartending experience
- Knowledge of wines and food and beverage service
- Must be available on evenings and weekends
- Good verbal and written skills
- Knowledge of Micros
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Good up-selling skills
- Self-motivated, flexible and reliable
- Great customer service and a positive attitude
- Smart Serve certified
Responsibilities / responsabilités
- Properly set-up and maintain a clean efficient service area of the bar throughout the shift
- Perform our guest services by using the Moments of Service guidelines
- Responsible for ringing orders into Micros, and delivering orders
- Continually check back with guests
- Keep all supplies stocked
- Clean, clear and reset service areas
- Protect the hotel from liability with regard to over serving guests
- Complete all duties as assigned by manager
- Aid guests in locating other areas of the hotel (walk them to destination if possible)
- Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions
- Familiarity with food and drink menus
- Adhere to cash handling standards
- Follow all company policies and procedures, ensuring clean uniform and professional personal appearance, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information and protecting company assets
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures by reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions and completing safety training and certifications
