Field Operation Supervisor - North Region- Painesville, Reminderville, Twinsburg and Solon
Field Operations Supervisor with Telecom experience for outside plant fiber installation, installation of customer premise, and overall field management in regard to installing and servicing fiber to the home customers. This position is accountable for the in-house and third-party installation teams. This position has authority to allocate resources and make installation and service repair decisions for the assigned area in accordance with Division Policies, Standards, Guides and Contractual commitments.
Responsibilities:
Accountable for site safety, quality, scheduling of technicians, ensuring quality control, maintaining a certain level of consumable materials to be used on jobs, fleet monitoring, and anything else related to the full field installation and repair process for the customer. This position is responsible for assuring availability of resources with proper expertise and tools to support assigned installation and service repair execution. Must be able to reconcile installation and repair activities and manage metrics in regard to team performance. A strong understanding of fiber installation practices and organizational skills is a must.
Accountable for supervising the overall installation and service including, process implementation, quality assurance of work, safety of employees, scheduling, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities in the roll include:
Minimum Qualifications
3 years of relevant fiber to the home experience along with telecommunication industry experience required. Supervisory experience is preferred.
Must be knowledgeable in quality fiber installation and service practices.
A working understanding of supervising third party contract labor.
Demonstrated ability to be consistent with performance management and goal attainment.
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work evenings and weekends as needed
