About the team:
As a key builder of DeFi products, the team plays an integral part in OKX's journey to reshape the financial ecosystem. OKX Earn provides users with a way to generate interest on your assets through multiple investment choices in the DeFi space, aiming to convert hodls to maximized crypto gains to millions of global users. The objective of the products is simple - hodl, have a good time and earn along the way.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing server-side APIs for blockchain-related businesses, as well as blockchain services required by other products;
Optimize system performance and tackle technical challenges to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance;
Possess strong architectural capabilities, including identifying service optimization opportunities and improving engineering productivity;
Gain a deep understanding of business and product requirements, and complete feature design, architecture optimization, and development.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
Solid foundation in Java, including JVM, I/O, multithreading, concurrency, and networking; strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design principles, encapsulation, and abstraction;
Proficient in mainstream Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot, with well-proven hands-on project experience; experience with consumer-facing (To-C) systems and system architecture is preferred; candidates with experience in large-scale projects and application architecture design are a plus;
Experience in To-C development and architecture design within the financial industry is preferred;
Experience in high-traffic, high-concurrency system development and architecture design is preferred;
Familiarity with blockchain platforms such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Hyperledger, etc., is a plus; or experience with one or more major decentralized finance (DeFi) projects, such as MakerDAO, Uniswap, Compound, or Synthetix;
Strong interest in blockchain technology is preferred, especially hands-on usage or research experience in public-chain ecosystem projects such as Uniswap or AAVE.
