Role Overview
As a Data Analyst Intern, you will be an integral part of our data team, helping us transform raw data into actionable business insights. You won’t just be "crunching numbers"—you’ll be learning how to tell stories with data, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making across the company.
This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate who is passionate about statistics, visualization, and the "why" behind the data.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Cleaning & Preparation: Assist in extracting, scrubbing, and organizing data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Build and maintain automated reports and interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Exploratory Analysis: Perform ad-hoc analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Product, or Finance teams to understand their data needs and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data models, definitions, and analysis methodologies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Technical Toolkit: Foundational knowledge of SQL (joining tables, filtering, and basic aggregations).
- Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation (Pandas, NumPy).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or even advanced Excel).
- Analytical Mindset: A natural curiosity to dig into "messy" data and find the underlying narrative.
- Communication: Ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
