ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE WORK IN WAREHOUSE SETTING WHERE THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING STRATEGIC DECISIONS THAT GOVERN THE NEED FOR SPACE APART FROM LOADING, UNLOADING FREIGHT, STORE MATERIAL AND STORING DOCUMENTS. THIS POSITION REQUIRES AN INDIVIDUAL TO BE EXTREMELY DEXTEROUS WHERE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL WORK IS CONCERNED AS WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATES MAY REQUIRE TO OPERATE FORKLIFTS, OVERHEAD CRANES, AND PERFORM BASIC MATHEMATICAL CALCULATIONS.
- PULL, PACK AND SHIP ORDERS IN AN CURRENT MANNER
- ORGANIZE STOCK AND MAINTAIN INVENTORIES
- INSPECT MATERIAL FOR DEFECT DAMAGES
- TRACK INVENTORY IN APPROPRIATE SYSTEM
- ORGANIZE SPACE IN THE WAREHOUSE, PREFORM CLEANING DUTIES TO MAINTAINS SAFE WORK ENVIRONMENT
- NOTIFY SUPERVISOR OF PROBLEMS
- RESTOCK MATERIAL AS AND WHEN REQUIRED
- PROCESS AND SHIP MATERIAL IN A TIME EFFICIENT MANNER
- COMPLETE REPORTS BY ENTERING REQUIRED INFORMATION
- CURRENT FORKLIFT LICENSE
