Job Description Summary:

Job Summary (RN)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, No weekends & No holidays
• Hours of operation are between 7:30am - 5:00pm

Come join our Endocrinology Team! This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals that are passionate about diabetes and device support for insulin pumps and glucose monitors. This position provides an opportunity to provide device education to patients that greatly enhances their management of daily symptoms and will allow you to maximize on your problem-solving and investigative skills to help troubleshoot support for patients.

As a part of this team, you would be working alongside Endocrinologists, APPs, and a team of nurses, collaborating to provide top-notch care to patients. With an average of 15-20 patients seen each day, this role offers a dynamic environment where you can grow and learn every day.

We are committed to supporting professional development and recognizing employees' efforts to enhance their skills and will provide pay incentives for obtaining The Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist certification (CDCES).

Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in diverse health care settings. The RN is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The RN delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. According to department policies and nursing care standards, provides professional nursing care services to patients. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to assigned patients.

Responsibilities And Duties:

30% Assessment/Diagnosis
Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and or individual.

30% Outcomes Identification/Planning
Based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems, documents planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs.

20% Implementation/Evaluation
Evaluates and documents response to nursing interventions and achievement of outcomes at appropriately determined intervals; as part of a multidisciplinary team, revises plan of care based on evaluative data.

10% Leadership
- Actively participates in process improvement activities to achieve targeted measures of clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.

10% Operations

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's Degree (Required)BTLS - Basic Trauma Life Support - American Heart Association, CPR - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - American Red Cross, RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing

Additional Job Description:

  • Knowledge of diabetes and/or diabetes devices is a plus!
  • Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist certification (CDCES) is a plus!
