About this role

 

  • Independently assists the Superintendent in coordinating & monitoring the activities for all sections and credentials issued by the Division of Real Estate and Professional Licensing. 
  • Drafts denial and charge notices, reviews pre-determinations and makes recommendations to the Superintendent, reviews enforcement files, advises investigators and makes recommendations to the Superintendent.  Prepares and makes presentations for any board or commission and to the public as requested by the Superintendent or Division Counsel.
  • Provides legal counsel & advice to the Superintendent & other staff members & related boards, commissions, & committees concerning legal issues. 
  • Answers legal inquires & complaints, conducts legal research & prepares legal documents. 


Admission to Ohio Bar pursuant to Section 4705.01 of Revised Code; 12 mos. exp. as licensed attorney; 6 mos. exp. in employee training & development.
