Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Acquisition Information Protection Manager supporting an Air Force acquisition mission on the EB contract at Eglin AFB, FL, providing support to EBR. The candidate will support execution of all aspects of acquisition program security throughout a program’s life cycle IAW applicable Government directives relating to SAPs, SCI, and collateral security requirements, including development of sound security practices and acquisition security documentation.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Support execution of acquisition program security throughout the program lifecycle IAW SAP/SCI/collateral security requirements
Work with Government, prime, and subcontractor personnel to develop sound security practices and policies regarding acquisition, physical, personnel, industrial, and documentation security
Prepare acquisition security related sections of acquisition program documentation and review security related Contractor deliverables
Plan and implement security-related surveys, assessments, and studies; evaluate program security information and hardware throughout the program lifecycle
Provide security support to source selections
Develop system security engineering-related documents including system security management plans, program protection plans, security risk analyses, OPSEC plans, computer assessment and authorization, security vulnerability/countermeasures analyses, security CONOPS, and other documents identified in MIL-STD 1785, DoDI 5000.02, and DoDI 8510.01 (RMF for DoD IT)
Maintain databases for classified holdings and visits/access levels; perform updates and generate reports
Support accountability activities including participation in audits of Government classified holdings
Perform inspection, inventory, logging, storage, documentation, transmittal, and internal distribution of classified information
Provide security inspection and protection of areas where classified information is stored and establish security procedures and policies
Develop and provide security awareness and other security education programs
Review and verify qualifications for access to special access programs
Record lock combinations (authorized for Contractor Acquisition Information Protection Managers only)
Support opening/closing secure/classified areas (SCIFs/SAPFs/secure storage areas)
May be appointed as CSSR, SPO, OPSEC Officer, and/or other positions stated in applicable security guidance (not deemed inherent to the Government)
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Minimum Required Qualifications
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain an Active Top Secret (TS) clearance
Education: Bachelor’s + 6 years Relevant Experience, OR Bachelor’s + 5 years Relevant Experience + SPeD SFPC, OR
Associate’s + 10 years Relevant Experience OR Associate’s + 9 years Relevant Experience + SPeD SFPC
Certifications: SPeD Program Security Fundamentals Professional Certification is required within 14 months
Preferred Qualifications
Clearance: TS/SCI
Education: Master’s + 4 years Relevant Experience OR Master’s + 3 years Relevant Experience + SPeD SFPC
Certifications: SPeD Program Security Fundamentals Professional Certification
Technical Skills
Acquisition program security (SAP/SCI/collateral) across program lifecycle
Security documentation support (program documentation and contractor deliverable review)
System security documents (PPP, OPSEC plans, security CONOPS, RMF-related documentation)
Classified holdings/visitor-access database maintenance and reporting
Classified material inspection, inventory, logging, storage, transmittal, and distribution
Security inspections, protection procedures, and awareness training support
Interpersonal Skills
Ability to coordinate with Government and contractor personnel to support secure program execution
Strong attention to detail supporting accountability, documentation, and compliance requirements
