Job Description
OCTA’s Senior Warranty Coordinator administers the warranty recovery operations, processing and negotiating claims, analyzing warranty performance, and ensuring maximum cost recovery while maintaining compliance with warranty standards and procedures.
This is a non-exempt position in Salary Grade 180: Min $36.86 – Mid $44.03 – Max $51.20 hourly. The starting salary will be within this range based on qualifications.
This position will remain open until filled.
What You’ll Do
Process and prepare warranty claims, negotiate settlements, and coordinate credit or replacement of parts.
Reconcile vendor reimbursements for parts and labor, track aging claims, and monitor all payments due and received.
Develop warranty specifications for capital procurements and collaborate with CAMM and Maintenance on warranty requirements.
Evaluate bids for compliance with warranty standards and recommend program improvements.
Represent OCTA in warranty-related disputes and support consistent implementation of warranty processes across teams.
Assist in training parts room staff and mechanics on warranty identification and processing.
What We’re Looking For
Associate degree or equivalent experience, plus 5+ years in warranty administration and materials management.
Warranty Administration Certificate or equivalent training (e.g., Automotive Business Management, Claims Management, ASE, OEM Warranty Administrator, Service Operations) preferred.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and maintain consistency, accuracy, and integrity in all warranty processes.
