Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Part-Time Anesthesiologist. Ochsner Health is an integrated healthcare system with more than 36,000 employees and over 4,600 employed and affiliated physicians in over 90 medical specialties and subspecialties. It operates 47 hospitals and more than 370 health and urgent care centers across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the Gulf South.

Our Coastal Mississippi program is a component of the Department of Anesthesiology with the Ochsner system Anesthesia Department.   Ochsner Hancock is an acute care hospital that includes a 24-hour emergency room.  The hospital specializes in surgical care, sleep disorders, physical therapy, and in-patient hospital services. 

Position Highlights:

  • This position requires practicing in a team model with CRNAs. 
  • Preferably looking for 2 weeks a month – M-F schedule. 
  • There will be no call on nights, weekends, or holidays. 
  • Collegial and multidisciplinary team of physician and nurses
  • Must be comfortable working with community and Ochsner surgeons and proceduralists as well as capable of developing excellent medical staff relationships.
  • Physician leadership and input at all levels of administration.
