Duties And Responsibilities

Purpose

 

·       Plan and coordinate subsea inspection activities and prepare detailed technical scopes of work in cooperation with Onshore /Offshore Subsea Inspection Coordinators.

·       Assist in the execution of subsea inspections and data collection via ROV, Diving and Offshore High Resolution Geophysical and Hydrographic surveys.

·       Prepare inspection procedures, technical drawings, and data sheets tailored to specific program needs.

·       Analyze collected subsea data

·       Review and support the preparation of reports, including daily progress reports and both draft and final inspection reports.

·       Equipment preparation and logistics, and Testing

·       Capture and execute lessons learned

·       Ensures all procedures are adhered to

·       Continued growth and development of inspection discipline

·       Reporting and data analysis

§  Position reports directly to the Senior Subsea Inspection Engineer


Qualifications

 

Qualifications:

REQUIRED:

§  Engineering or Science Major

§  English proficiency (both written and verbal)

§  Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

DESIRED:

§  Experience in subsea inspection

§  Familiarity with Nexus, Marisoft, Coabis software

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics:

§  Strong ability to prepare and elaborate clear, detailed reports

§  Ensures that reporting is always done in an understandable and precise manner

§  Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

§  Ability to work collaboratively with onshore and offshore teams to achieve operational goals

Working Conditions

This position is based in an OFFSHORE environment, with work typically conducted on platforms. The role may involve exposure to:

§  Variable weather and sea conditions

§  Extended periods away from shore (rotational schedule)

§  Environments requiring strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures

§  Areas where PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is mandatory
