Position Summary

The Sr. Technologist I, Network Engineer, will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of the Company’s Network Security globally. The individual will be part of a team evaluating the Security and Wireless technologies which are to be deployed at our Worldwide offices. For this role, it requires daily onsite attendance as this is not a remote-work position and possible travel domestically and overseas up to 10%.


Duties And Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership in the enterprise infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot outages, alarms, and performance issues throughout the organization.
  • Understand change control requirements to ensure compliance with the audit system.
  • Physical installation and troubleshooting of all IT equipment at remote locations.
  • Design, write and update system documentation and network diagrams.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot various network security architectures.
  • Monitor and diagnose performance.
  • Lead continued improvement activities.
  • Design and implement solutions to maximize the functions of the equipment purchased.  
  • Ability to travel domestically and overseas up to 10% of the year.

Qualifications

Enterprise Networking Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering roles, with a focus on wireless, routing, switching, and infrastructure design.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco ASR, Nexus 7000, Catalyst 9000/4000, 8000 ISR, Cisco ISE, Zscaler, Palo and Aruba platforms.
  • Proven ability to design, configure, and support Security architectures across distributed environments.

SD-WAN & Cloud Networking:

  • 7+ years of experience working with Versa SD-WAN, including policy configuration, deployment, and optimization in hybrid cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud-connected technologies such as Zscaler, Palo  DMVPN, GRE/IPSec, and SSL VPN.

Wireless & Load Balancing:

  • Demonstrated expertise in enterprise wireless design, preferably using Cisco or Aruba solutions.
  • Experience administering and maintaining F5 BIG-IP load balancers.

Network Monitoring & Management Tools:

  • Proficiency in using tools such as WhatsupGold, Cisco ISE, Efficient IP, Silver Peak, and Cisco Smart Licensing for monitoring, visibility, and configuration management.

Additional Skills:

  • Comfortable reviewing and drawing conclusions from network logs to assist with performance analysis and troubleshooting.
  • 7+ years of experience applying project management practices in complex network implementation or upgrading projects.

Desired

  • Certifications are preferred (such as security, routing & switching, and wireless).
