As a Business Performance and Analytics Specialist at OCBC, you'll play a key role in driving business growth and improvement. You'll have the opportunity to work with various stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and develop data-driven solutions to drive business outcomes. How you succeed
To succeed in this role, you'll need to be able to distill complex data into actionable insights that drive business outcomes. You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop analytics solutions that meet those needs. You'll need to be able to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner and be able to influence business decisions through data-driven recommendations.

What you do

  • Prepare monthly financial/ business reports, forecasts and variance analysis to senior management and stakeholders, providing in-depth and accurate analysis into financial performance and trends

  • Provide regular updates on business activities and pipeline deals with analysis.

  • Assist in preparing strategic proposals & reports for strategic initiatives.

  • Adopting integrated reporting to manage strategic reporting, data collection & analysis.

  • Assist in preparing annual budget & goal performance setting.

  • Work closely with stakeholders on collaborative drives and strategic initiatives

  • Identify opportunities for strategic initiatives, including Sustainable Financing by conducting portfolio analysis for potential deals and review eligibility of deals for on-boarding for portfolio growth


Who you are

  • A degree holder with at least 3 years of experience in business finance analytics, preferably within banking sector

  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., MS Excel, Power BI and MS Power-point)

  • Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis
