About this role
We are looking for a Product Designer with 3+ years of experience to be the foundational design hire at Obviant. You will own the end-to-end user experience, define our design strategy, and work closely with customers, engineering, and product to shape our data intelligence platform. This is a critical role with significant influence on our product roadmap and the opportunity to grow into a leadership position. We're seeking someone who can bring best practices from established, design-forward companies to a fast-paced startup environment.
What will you be doing?
- Establish the vision, strategy, and processes for design from the ground up as the first dedicated design hire.
- Own the entire end-to-end product design lifecycle, from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity visual design and developer hand-off.
- Act as the bridge between engineering, product, and customers, translating complex needs into intuitive, enterprise-grade software experiences.
- Work directly with clients to ensure the long-term product design meets their needs and solves their most pressing problems.
- Build and maintain a scalable design system to ensure consistency across the product suite as the company grows.
