About this role

Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of the Facilities Manager, the Skilled Maintenance Operator is responsible for all aspects of the equipment operation, inspection and maintenance, as well as daily documentation in maintenance logs. May be required to drive between multiple campuses as needed. Will be working with electrical, HVAC, plumbing. Will be required to be on call.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION

 

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered.  Completion of technical courses preferred.

 

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

 

3 years previous hospital facilities maintenance experience preferred.

 

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

 

Stationary engineer, boiler certification, HVAC, or other applicable trade certification or license with experience preferred. Universal EPA license preferred. Valid Texas Driver’s license required.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

 

Must be able to read and write English and follow oral and written instructions.
