Job Summary
As a Senior Account Manager at NXP Semiconductors, you will be responsible for managing and growing key customer accounts, driving revenue growth, and fostering strong, long-term relationships with our strategic clients within the semiconductor industry.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve and exceed sales targets and business objectives.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at assigned customer accounts, understanding their technical and business needs.
Identify new business opportunities and drive the sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including product management, engineering, marketing, and customer support to ensure seamless customer experience and solution delivery.
Provide accurate sales forecasts, market intelligence, and competitive analysis to management.
Negotiate complex contracts, pricing, and terms with customers, ensuring profitability and alignment with company policies.
Act as the primary point of contact for all commercial and strategic matters for assigned accounts.
Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and NXP's product portfolio to effectively position solutions to customers.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to customers.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related technical field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in account management, sales, or business development within the semiconductor industry.
Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas and managing large, complex accounts.
Strong understanding of semiconductor products, technologies, and market dynamics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with C-level executives.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive account plans.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Dutch or other relevant languages is a plus.
Ability to travel as required to meet with customers and attend industry events.
