About this role

Job Description

NXP is seeking a candidate to manage security operations at multiple sites located in India. Reporting to the Asia Pacific Regional Security Manager, this individual is responsible for the facility’s guard force supervision, incident response and management program, access control system deployment and management, and security compliance programs, which may include management and support of additional NXP operations or facilities.

Qualifications

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • A minimum of 12 years’ experience in industrial security, law enforcement, military or a combination thereof.
  • Prior experience in a corporate logistics environment a plus.
  • Prior experience conducting investigations or managing loss prevention activities.

Must also have the following demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Possess problem solving and project management fundamentals
  • Self-starter with strong work ethic.
  • Sound knowledge of physical security practices and principles.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment techniques.
  • Ability to investigate and manage security incidents.
  • High standard of ethics combined with ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Experience with financial management, forecasting and planning.
  • Experience in disaster recovery, contingency planning and/or crisis management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to relate to employees at all levels.
  • Ability to provide timely, proactive, creative, and practical reports and solutions.
  • Demonstrated presentation and instructional skills.
  • Knowledge of access control and closed-circuit monitoring systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite software
  • Experience supporting ISO 15408/Common Criteria,ISO27001, C-TPAT, CFATS, GSMA SOX a plus
  • Personal Protection Specialist (PPS), Physical Security Professional (PSP), Professional Certified Investigator (PCI), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or Certified Protection Professional (CPP) is a plus

Essential Job Functions

Physical Security

  • Protecting employees, facilities, assets, and visitors.
  • Managing site regulatory programs
  • Overseeing physical security activities of the site contract security supervisor and contract security staff.
  • Liaison with law enforcement agencies, security industry peers, and others developed on own initiative.
  • Developing and implementing security procedures for protecting employees, visitors, facilities, systems, and business processes.
  • Developing and delivering security awareness training.
  • Lead the local implementation of global security programs, including (but not limited to) Travel Risk Management, Executive Protection, and Intelligence & Threat Assessment, ensuring alignment with global standards and regional needs.

Investigations

  • Investigating threats, fraudulent activity, ethics violations, workplace violence matters, and other internal and external exposures and risks and at the direction of the Global Security Manager.
  • Performing due diligence investigations in support of the Legal Department and under the direction and authority of the Global Security Manager.

Emergency Management

  • Participating and/or managing crisis management, emergency planning, special event security, and business continuity initiatives.

Project Management

  • Successfully managing security projects through collaboration with key stakeholders and internal customers.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Financial Management

  • Manage site security budget and forecasting for contract security and other vendors as required

Customer Service

  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers to support business operations locally
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry, security associations, and governmental contacts
