Responsibilities
NV5 is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Roadways) to join our Transportation (Roadway) Group in Orlando. The senior project manager will be responsible for providing technical expertise, assistance and project management associated with transportation projects and ensuring projects are completed with the highest quality.
The most frequent and essential work activities include:
- Compile scope and fee for projects.
- Assign tasks and communicate task expectations.
- Responsible for project set up in Deltek Vision and ensuring that executed contract submitted to accounting.
- Complete project tasks within deadlines and work within allotted project budgets.
- Communicate adequately with all team members and senior management.
- Responsible for QA/QC process.
- Monitor project finances monthly.
- Monitor accounts receivable.
- Responsible for reporting monthly to accounting the project billing summary for invoices.
- Assist with mentoring junior transportation staff.
- Market NV5 to FDOT and local municipalities to obtain new contracts.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Florida PE License
- 10+ Years’ experience in transportation (roadway) design
- Knowledge and experience with MicroStation, InRoads and/or Geopak with Corridor Modeling softwares
- GDOT project experience a plus
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license prior to employment.
