Our Melville, NY office is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector to work on various roadway and bridge infrastructure projects in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Requirements include NICET III minimum or equivalent with 5 years of experience on similar construction projects. Must have previous NYSDOT experience. OSHA & ACI certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Inspect construction activities.
- Prepare daily Inspector reports.
- Confirm Contractor quantities.
- Ensure implementation of MPT.
Qualifications
Education/Qualifications:
- Diploma or undergraduate degree in Engineering, and/or NICET III certification with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Certifications/Licenses:
- NICET III
- OSHA and ACI training, preferred.
Compensation: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
Base pay offered for this New York–based role may vary and can be higher or lower depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base pay, this position may be eligible for a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and other benefits, depending on the role offered. This disclosure is provided in accordance with New York Senate Bill S1326. Base pay information is determined by market location. What you'll do
- The Senior Construction Inspector will inspect construction activities and prepare daily reports. They will also confirm contractor quantities and ensure the implementation of maintenance of traffic (MPT).
