Support program planning and implementation efforts in Rhode Island. The selected intern will assist the EERMC and its Consultant Team by conducting guided research on clean energy technologies and programs, analyzing energy efficiency program data, reviewing clean energy policy and legislation, and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative findings into reports and presentations for the EERMC.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and assistance on a variety of tasks for client including developing content for client newsletter
  • Reviewing and summarizing energy efficiency program plans and implementation
  • Working on ad-hoc tasks on an as needed basis

Qualifications

Education/Qualifications:

  • Background and/or coursework in energy efficiency, environmental science, sustainability, or economics
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills desirable
  • Experience with data visualization and dashboard development
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to support development of concise and understandable deliverables
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently on specific tasks
