Reporting to the Mine Maintenance Supervisor, this position will be required to install and maintain high and low voltage equipment throughout the mine.
What You'll Do:
- Work safely in a mining environment following policies and procedures.
- Inspect, repair, install and wire all electrical apparatus, devices and circuits of any voltage on site.
- Participate in safety meetings and inspections and following standard operating procedures.
What You'll Bring:
- A valid Saskatchewan or Interprovincal Certificate of Journeyperson Status (Red Seal) as an Electrician.
- Previous experience in an industrial environment would be an asset.
- Positive safety behaviour and a safety mindset.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a labour-intensive team environment as well as independently.
- Stable work record.
- Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interact positively with co-workers and supervisors.
- Willingness to learn and gain required knowledge and experience through training.
