What You'll Do:
- Provide electrical technical support to the Mine Maintenance Department.
- Assist with maintenance planning related to VFD, PLC and networking equipment.
- Assist underground maintenance to identify and resolve electrical problems.
- Ensure continuity of operations and safety on all projects.
- Work closely with Maintenance, Engineering and Operations Departments to develop and advance maintenance workflow activities.
What You'll Bring:
- Engineering Technology diploma, Journeyperson certificate, or diploma in a related field.
- 3+ years of experience operating in a plant engineering or maintenance environment.
- Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) experience is an asset.
- Familiarity with the Construction Codes and Practices in common usage.
- Safety Commitment.
- Ability to handle a large and varied workload.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning & problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and experience with EAM software systems.
