We are currently offering a great opportunity for an Account Manager - Merchandise Sales to join our Temora Branch. 

 

We’re open to receiving applicants with a range of capabilities and skills. There is scope, based on experience for this role to become either Sales Support - Merchandise or Merchandise Manager, catering for a wider degree of candidates to find the right person to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who is enthusiastic & has a passion for agriculture. Someone who maybe either at the beginning their career or someone looking to continue or advance their career in the industry are encouraged to apply.

 

 

About the opportunity:


Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will work closely with our key clients & customers in Temora & surrounds to deliver merchandise sales with a focus on safety, value & service. You will support the wider team and play a vital role in achieving the overall business objectives. 
You will be responsible for Sales and providing merchandise support across a range of categories including Crop Protection, Seed, Animal Health & Nutrition, Animal Management, Fencing, Water Equipment and General Merchandise, including


•    Sales & growth 
•    Quality service, promoting a wide range of products which provide solutions for our clients and customers. 
•    Working with our valued suppliers 
•    Providing & co-ordinating on farm deliveries
•    Meeting our financial objectives 
•    Maintaining safety, quality & presentation of the store and merchandising to the highest standards
•    inventory management including stocktakes

 

 

About You:


To be successful you will have:


•    A passion for the Australian agriculture and ideally experiences in rural merchandise sales. 
•    Good basic knowledge of winter dryland cropping & livestock enterprises.
•    Great customer service, work well in a team and possess excellent communication, organisational, administrative skills. 
•    Sound computing skills will be complemented by excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
•    You will demonstrate enthusiasm and initiative and the ability to develop positive relationships with customers.
•    This position involves on farm work and travel, so a Driver's license is a requirement, HR licence is desirable (or willing to obtain)
•    A forklift licence is advantageous or must be willing to obtain.
