What you’ll do 

The employee is responsible for reporting to the assigned workplace at the specified time and notifying the supervisor in advance of any late arrivals or absences.

They assist with the delivery of bulk and bagged feed products to customers and support other mill operations, including feed mill processes.

The role also includes feed mill and mill fleet maintenance, such as planning and scheduling maintenance, keeping maintenance records, and performing equipment upkeep.

Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

What We’re Looking For

The employee is responsible for reporting to the assigned workplace on time and notifying the supervisor in advance of any late arrivals or absences. They assist with the delivery of bulk and bagged feed products to customers and support feed mill operations, including maintenance of the mill and fleet, planning and scheduling upkeep, keeping maintenance records, and performing equipment repairs. The role requires a Class 1 driver’s license with 3 to 5 years of experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and piping systems, along with knowledge of machines and tools, is essential. The position demands physical strength to lift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing at least 50 pounds, often involving repetitive motion, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The employee must demonstrate initiative, effort, and commitment, be available for on-call duties, maintain required licenses and certifications, and pass a criminal background check. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
