What you will do

As a Research Technician (RT), you will play a critical role within the Research team, supporting the execution of experimental studies and contributing to the development of tools, methodologies, products, and concepts in the field of animal nutrition.

You will:

  • Coordinate and accurately execute study protocols at our experimental farm facilities as well as in designated field trial locations.

  • Ensure the quality of all methods, collected and generated data, and experimental feeds used in each trial.

  • Carry out production and laboratory activities under the supervision of the Researcher for both internal and external R&D studies.

  • Collaborate with the regulatory specialist to support exemption requests for non-EU-registered additives.

  • Develop and implement new techniques and methodologies in both farm and laboratory environments.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance the quality, efficiency, and consistency of animal studies.

  • Represent the R&D Research group when hosting internal and external visitors.

  • Ensure clear, proactive communication between farm, feed mill, laboratory, and research teams on all matters related to study quality.

Who we are looking for

We are seeking a responsible, committed, and proactive individual eager to contribute to scientific research. Someone who is hands-on, well organized, and passionate about quality, data accuracy, and continuous improvement.

You will also bring:

  • A technical or university degree in Animal Sciences, Biology, Nutrition, or a related field.

  • Experience in executing study protocols, laboratory work, sample handling, or data collection.

  • Understanding or interest in quality systems (ISO 9001) and good experimental practices.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Analytical thinking, curiosity, and a mindset focused on improvement and operational excellence.
