Leicester Hospital | Sales & Marketing | Fixed Term Contract Until 31st December 2026 | Full time |

£24,043 pro rata

37.5 Hours per week including evenings and weekends Varied Hours 8am-6pm

As a Customer Services Advisor, you will:
Play a key role in delivering an exceptional service experience. Your responsibilities will include:

Consistently providing high-quality customer service
Managing internal and external enquiries efficiently, escalating complex issues to senior staff where appropriate
Accurately entering client data and completing patient registration in line with agreed standards and timescales
Communicating professionally and effectively at all times
Maintaining strict confidentiality of client and patient information
Preparing standard departmental reports as required
Scheduling, rescheduling, and coordinating appointments
Managing the availability of consultation rooms and consultants
Creating, amending, or cancelling clinics as required
Undertaking additional administrative and ad hoc duties to support business needs

To succeed as a Customer Services Advisor, you will demonstrate:

Previous experience in an administrative or office-based environment
Strong communication skills, with confidence engaging both the general public and healthcare professionals
Competence and confidence using IT systems, with intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
A commitment to delivering high-quality client service and positive customer interactions.

The Hospital has a strong local reputation with patients remaining loyal. The Hospital has 28 ensuite inpatient beds, 2 Laminar flow theatres, Endoscopy Suite, minor treatment room and 14 consulting rooms. The hospital delivers a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient treatments and services using the best possible technologies. Since 2015 we have invested in a static MRI unit, a new digital X ray room & digital mammography. We are a local centre of excellence for Children and Young People Services. Having a Fitness & Wellbeing Gym in Leicester has led to a close working relationship and the Hospital was a forerunner for the Nuffield recovery plus programme.

The Hospital has been rated as a ‘Good’ hospital by the CQC and achieved this rating across the 5 key lines of enquiry across all departments inspected
