As a Biomedical Scientist - Histology at our Oxford Manor Hospital, you’ll bring the relevant qualifications and laboratory experience in multidisciplinary biomedical science. You have a good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of techniques. You’re also a natural communicator and team player, and you share our idea of quality.
As a Biomedical Scientist, you will:
Deliver high-quality pathology services
Complete your share of covering the out-of-hours on-call service
Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, reporting and quality control
Keep records of specimens, results, reagents and consumables
Support the validation and assessment of new equipment and new diagnostic procedures
Help ensure we deliver the very best experience for patients
Bank working means working on a zero hours contract so hours are to be worked to cover busy times, absence and holidays. For this role, we would like people to apply to can commit to cover shifts during the week - Monday - Friday between 8am - 6pm. Consideration would be given for afternoons and evenings as well.
