Basic Job Functions:

 The role of Payroll Administrator includes providing support for all basic payroll and HR functions within CSI. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Weekly processing of all payroll activities; preparing W2s; preparation and submission of weekly and monthly reports to Accounting; and wage garnishment processing.

• Administering FMLA, Sick Pay, Long-Term Disability and Life Insurance claims.

• Assisting teammates with payroll and HR related inquiries

• Maintaining and auditing physical and electronic personnel files.

• Initiating New Hire Onboarding, conducting Orientation, and entering in various databases.

• Generating weekly and quarterly payroll tax reports.

 

• Maintaining current cross-training within all HR functions, to provide back up as needed.

 

• Maintaining a high level of integrity, ethical character, and honesty in all actions.

 

• Other duties as assigned.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
  • No relatives or household members employed by NCSI 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP Payroll, Success Factors and Ceridian Dayforce experience
  • Payroll tax and financial reporting experience
