Basic Job Functions:
The role of the Burner Bander includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Ensure safe work environment for their self and their coworkers
- Perform daily crane inspections
- Take appropriate tests off of coils as required
- Assist in mill maintenance
- Accurately fill out paperwork legibly and complete
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months of Hot Rolling experience

What you'll do
- The Burner Bander is responsible for ensuring a safe work environment and performing daily crane inspections. They also assist in mill maintenance and accurately complete necessary paperwork.
