About Nucleo:

We are Nucleo. We are a team of dedicated technicians and consultants with extensive expertise and experience in fields of Data Migration, Enterprise Asset Management solutions (such as IBM Maximo), Reporting & Business Intelligence (BI), Project Management and Business Change.

We work with large scale clients in asset intensive industries to help them develop solutions that drive improved business outcomes. Our consultants are focused on gaining an extensive understanding of our client's businesses, who we work in a partnership with to empower them to take meaningful control of their assets and operations, and by extension, better control of their business.

Purpose:
To serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring clear AI/ML requirements, structured documentation, and effective validation of proofs of concept (POCs) and use cases within the AI programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with business and technical stakeholders to elicit, clarify, prioritise, and document AI-specific requirements, including data needs and ethical considerations.

  • Document use cases, process maps, functional and non-functional requirements, and AI value propositions in standardised formats.

  • Coordinate with vendors to align AI solutions with business needs, technical constraints, and governance standards.

  • Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, user acceptance testing (UAT), and AI model validation sign-offs.

  • Track dependencies, risks, data quality issues, and ethical risks across multiple AI POCs.

  • Act as quality gatekeeper by validating AI deliverables against requirements and enterprise standards.

  • Support IT and data teams in managing access, synthetic test data, environment readiness, and AI observability.

  • Ensure comprehensive documentation such as design documents, test evidence, business value reports, and AI ethics assessments.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Strong business analysis background with proven vendor engagement in AI or data projects.

  • Solid understanding of data management principles, including the handling of personal and sensitive data (e.g., PII).

  • Ability to interpret technical AI/ML concepts and translate them into structured requirements.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Knowledge of AI, automation, data-driven projects, MLOps, and enterprise systems (e.g., Dynamics, ServiceNow).

  • Proficiency with tools such as Azure DevOps, Power BI, Jira, or similar platforms; familiarity with AI tools (e.g., prompt engineering) is an advantage.

  • Comfortable working in Agile or proof-of-concept delivery environments; AI-ready business analysis certification (e.g., IIBA AI endorsement) desirable.
