Your day at NTT DATA
As a Solutions Architect at NTT DATA, you will be a cornerstone in our mission to craft cutting-edge, complex solutions tailored to our clients' needs. Your day will involve consulting with clients and partnering with internal teams to create strategies, transformational designs, and an architectural vision that provides true business value.
You will contribute to developing solution architectures for specific business, infrastructure, or functional areas. Your expertise will allow you to evaluate different architectures considering cost, performance, and scalability, and then produce detailed specifications for both cloud-based and on-premises components.
Your role will include supporting changes through the preparation of technical plans and applying design principles that comply with our architectural standards. You will take responsibility for understanding client requirements, gathering DATA, conducting analysis, and resolving problems.
Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring emerging technologies and sharing your knowledge through reports and technology roadmaps. Use your design skills to create components that handle both functional and non-functional requirements, including proof of concept (POC). You will also review, verify, and continually improve your designs.
Lastly, contribute to developing new go-to-market services and apply your expertise across both technical levels within the enterprise architecture and the value chain to develop holistic and integrated solutions.

To thrive in this role, you need to have:
- Comprehensive knowledge in multi-vendor service integrations and cross-functional software, operating systems, and infrastructure designs.
- Ability to deploy specific infrastructures and application software in line with relevant methodologies and frameworks.
- Skill in developing and leveraging specialized knowledge of reference architectures.
- Ability to keep up with trends and developments in technology domains.
- Proven experience in integrating solutions for specific projects with business domains, industry standards, established patterns, and best practices.
- Good experience in client engagement, consulting, and client needs assessment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with strong interpersonal skills to build solid working relationships.
- Experience in an agile development environment.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.
